Recently India's National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) announced the launch of a National Skills Registry (NSR) for IT and business process outsourcing (BPO) professionals.
The registry, which is online at https://www.nationalskillsregistry.com, aims to strengthen security in Indian IT and BPO by providing potential employers with information on employees, said Sunil Mehta, vice president of Nasscom in Delhi, India.
Nasscom is looking at the feasibility of having a similar registry for employees of industry contractors as well. "We believe the entire ecosystem has to be protected," Mehta said.

It is great to find out that so many jobs are to be created in a country where the number of inhabitants is overwhelmingly greater than the the number of jobs. However, it is well pointed out that that capacity of the educational system and of other training systems is a lot smaller than the numbers of job openings. So i believe alternatives would be well regarded:)
I think it would be a great thing if along with these jobs they would make some specialized training centers so that these jobs would really become accessible for the open public.
