EDS announced that it received a rating of "strong positive" for its Data Center Outsourcing in the July 26, 2006, Gartner MarketScope for Data Center Outsourcing, North America, 2006 written by Richard T. Matlus and William Maurer.

According to the report, the rating of "strong positive" is a vendor that is a solid provider of strategic products, services or solutions. Gartner indicates current customers should continue to invest in a "strong positive" provider's services and potential customers should consider the vendor a strong, strategic choice.
