Yahoo/Zimbra versus Exchange

Phil Wainewright today posts a much more articulate argument than mine why Yahoo's acquisition of Zimbra might indicate a move more oriented at assaulting Microsoft's Exchange bastion than Google's Apps.

Of course, as a Zimbra VAR you may have the inside scoops, but strategically I think the best bet would be hitting Exchange where it's soft rather than Google/Zoho/etc where they are strong.
