Vodaphone goes with Accenture for ERP Implementation

Vodafone Group Chief Financial Officer Andy Halford said, "Accenture's experience and expertise in this area will help ensure that the new ERP system delivers a range of benefits to Vodafone including greater efficiencies across a number of business functions, as well as enhanced business agility. We look forward to working with Accenture on this initiative."
Mark Bryant, Accenture's managing director responsible for the Vodafone business, said, "Accenture has been working with Vodafone for a number of years on a range of projects to support Vodafone as it redefines the future of global mobile telecommunications
. Accenture's ability to deliver capabilities seamlessly across areas such as finance, human resource services and supply chain management on a global basis will help Vodafone to realize the many benefits of a fully-integrated ERP solution across its operating companies."
Vodafone and Accenture have signed a multi-year agreement under which Accenture will support Vodafone in the development and implementation of a single, global enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to improve the management of information.
