First, from Information Week, we have the IT Survival Guide. It's basically a collection of links to other recent Information Week articles or resources on specific topics... sort of a shotgun approach, but a good overview for executives or IT managers who have to get up to speed quickly on a particular project subject.
Next, we have a couple recent post from Michael Krigsman on his IT Project Failures blog at ZDNet. This morning, he has up six tips to reduce IT project failures. These are all good reminders-like the IW article, more of an overview or a checklist than a detailed description of the "do magic" part of the business. And from yesterday, two more tips on what to ask vendors before you trip down the aisle with them in a complex software implementation project.
