Although I'm very much a person that believes in things that one can touch, feel, smell, measure, etc., there's a soft side to me that believes in things that have good "Karma".

GoToMeeting has good Karma in my book. Although I talked about it before from a "lab" testing point of view ("my Favorite Murphy's Laws for Starting Online Meetings"), I've actually now used the service in make or break business development meetings. The results of my first big meeting:

  • the meeting went very smoothly

  • nothing broke

  • we're closing the deal.

That's good Karma.

But beyond my personal Karma, here's some nuts and bolts to think about why the GoToMeeting service is good. Three GoToMeeting features that mean the most to me:

  • GoToMeeting works through firewalls.

  • GoToMeeting has no complicated software to install. Just a one-time appletlinks plug-in to configure that is quick and secure.

  • With GoToMeeting, there's a nice tabbed
control panel that allows you quickly give people webconference
instructions via three ways: by phone, by email, or by copy & paste
    instructions.

GoToMeeting is brought to the world by Citrix, a name that one can trust. The pricing plan is very affordable (comparison chart here). Find out how it works, and start a free trial today!
