- the flexibility of SaaS can mean a major challenge to engineering teams
- 80% of SugarCRM Source Code is Open Source
- ongoing accountability is imperative for successful SaaS providers
- Web services are again imperative for playing SaaS successfully.

Conclusion: This panel was rather unmotivated. There is no real technical breakthrough in SaaS - its a new deal.
