Sidebar decorations

So I still have most of the previous tenant's links and recommendations over in the sidebar. I don't want to empty it out, and intend no disrespect to those choices and recommendations, but all the same I would like to spruce it up a bit and make it my own.

I added Roughtype, Nick Carr's blog, as the first and most obvious addition to my pantheon of recommended reading, but after that I am a bit stuck. I follow a lot of blogs, and I have a few more ideas for links to put over there, but I thought I would open it up to discussion.

So what do you think? Any recommendations for required reading for current or prospective CIOs?

Hi Michael, thanks. Interestingly enough, I had just come across your Project Failure blog for the first time last week. I will definitely keep an eye on it… but I have to admit, I was all primed for some, well, juicy project failures when I pulled it up, and didn’t see many. I like the recent stuff, though, I’ll keep an eye on it!

  4. Hi Scott,

Your point is well-taken — I try to mix up juicy failures with other material as well. If you want to go directly to the failures, click here:

Best of luck with your new blog!

Ah, very good! Thanks Michael, that’s exactly what I was looking for… good trainwreck material.
