Saw this post on Infoworld, here is an excerpt from the same:

Software sales slowed in the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions, SAP reported. In the U.S. and Japan, sales dropped to a 4 percent growth rate during the fourth quarter. The enterprise software vendor reported 13 percent revenue growth in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.SAP is expected to provide guidance for 2007's outlook and announce detailed fourth-quarter 2006 results on Jan. 24.

Couple of questions:

1. Is this just SAP or indication of trends to follow?

2. Was just wondering how this will impact the IT Services players,close to 20% of the revenue comes from Package Implementations?
