Points for comparison
Since it's a Sunday and my proclivities in this matter are already fairly well known, I'm just going to put this link up as food for thought for the rest of you. The Operating System wars have generally devolved into such minutae and trivial detail that sometimes participants have trouble standing back enough to see the forest from the trees. What we learn about in our education and training as IT professionals sometimes takes a back seat to personal preference, and we find ourselves making decisions less rationally than one might hope. What exactly should progress look like, anyway? Are we really making any? Try to evaluate your own position with an open mind.
