One of the key road blocks for wider Open Source acceptance is the lack of / the need for better understanding of licenses. Here is a link to Greg Vetters paper on open source licenses, titled "'Infectious' Open Source Software: Spreading Incentives or Promoting Resistance". It is an interesting read.
