Recently we had a post on Kimberly Clark signing an 5 years outsourcing deal with Genpact , now there are two new announcements:
TCS has signed a multi-year agreement to provide information technology infrastructure support to Kimberly-Clark Corporation's operations in the United States, Europe, South America and the Asia Pacific region.
In the December 2006 report by Forrester Research Inc entitled, "The Forrester Wave: Global Delivery Infrastructure Management For Europe, Q4 2006", TCS was named a leader in the offshore infrastructure management services "with the broadest infrastructure management portfolio" among other India based service providers.
Congnizant has signed an IT applications outsourcing agreement with Kimberly-Clark Corporation covering an array of SAP and customized software applications, including strategic planning, product management, supply chain planning and execution, sourcing, sales and marketing, data exchange and compliance, enterprise management and customer management. The agreement has an initial term of five years with additional one-year extension options.
Under the agreement Cognizant will deliver a broad range of IT applications services to Kimberly-Clark across various locations in North America, Europe, India and Latin America. Cognizant will also leverage its relationship with SAP and experience in delivering large-scale, global SAP applications projects. Through this approach, Cognizant will help Kimberly-Clark transform its IT footprint, reduce costs and drive new IT-based capabilities.
