After the initial splash and questions as to the applicability of the iPhone in the business world, there has been a slow but steady trend of announcements and accomodations by various companies integrating the device into their mobile solutions. Despite Apple's initial resistance to allowing third-party developers any formal access to the device, a surge of solutions have appeared (both legitimate and not) allowing corporate users to conduct their business with the device.
Now if only Apple would ditch AT&T's abhorrently slow EDGE network and get a real data service for the thing, then we would really start seeing some business being done with the thing.
