Microsoft releases new MOF documents
I thought I would pass this along quickly since I doubt many of you spend a lot of time monitoring the hotbed of activity that is the Microsoft MOF and Service Management blog.

The Microsoft Operations Framework Team has released three new documents (linked from this post) extending the framework. They are:

  • Using MOF for ISO/IEC 20000

  • Planning for Software Plus Services

  • Cross-reference ITEL V3.0 and MOF 4.0

I'm curious to see what they have to say about Software Plus Services planning but I suspect that the most useful of these will be the ITIL/MOF cross-reference. I would promise to read these and report back, but as I still haven't gotten around to my promised review of MOF 4.0 itself, I won't strain your credulity with such statements. If I do happen to get through one or more of those items, I'll report back; otherwise, your comments on the documents are always appreciated.
