80% of Indian SME's await erp solutions - Frost & Sullivan

was reading an article in the Industry 2.0 June edition titled "Mid-market Fever", which is a compilation of a Frost & Sullivan Mid-Market ERP Report.

Below is the screen shot of a slide i put together from the data that is available in the article.

Is SAAS the solution for Indian Mid-Market ERP Requirements

I would like to highlight the Challenges faced section, as i read the points mentioned in the section ,i cant but think that these companies/organisations ripe/ideal for SaaS implementations/solutions of these (ERP/CRM) applications. SaaS usage mandates little or no IT awareness within the organisations (almost like consumer usage, we dont have any IT department at home teaching us how to use gmail - oversimplification yes but the point remains)...Maintenance & Admin is not handled internally by the orgnisation, so they dont need to go get them selves an IT department. And of course there are very many such advantages.Let me do some checking and find out what the cost structure for these SaaS based solutions will be.
