IBM continues to expand cloud computing centers

I'm still not sure what they are doing in all of them, but IBM is aggressively expanding its portfolio of so-called "cloud computing centers" again, adding centers in Bangalore, Hanoi, Sao Paulo, and Seoul to bring its total up to 13 centers world-wide.

The CIO Magazine article covering these launches doesn't get much into specifics, but it seems that these centers probably fall into the same pattern as the others, which as far as I can tell are basically somewhat insular datacenters offering clustered resources to IBM customers. This is certainly utility computing; I'm not sure it's cloud computing as I define the term. But even IBM marketers have to use the buzzwords of the moment, I suppose.
