InfoWorld just released a nice review of hosted customer relationship management (CRM) solutions by NetSuite, RightNow Technologies, Salesforce.com, and Salesnet. Nice comparison tables and by vendor summary table covering subscription and licensing costs, scope, features, platform support, and overall scoring. If you already know about Salesforce.com, you might not be willing to change platforms, but if you are thinking about introducing someting new (e.g., pilot initiative for new business development opportunities within a larger company with legacy CRM tools), you might want to check this out.

  1. Vendor says:

The market is flooded with other Hosted CRM application that can provide similar functionality and stability and much lower prices. Most of these other/smaller Hosted CRM applications focus on a niche. The key is to find the reputable CRM that provides the niche functionality you are looking for. I work with InsideSales.com. We provide a Hosted CRM Application that focuses on Inside Sales. We provide tools that are for sales reps that sell over the phone (dialers, inbound screen-pop, message lay down, etc). There are many other CRM applications that focus on different niches.

The market has many CRM applications. Don’t just choose SalesForce.com because they are large and public. Choose a CRM that fits your company’s needs.
