EDS today announced it has been recognized as the strongest implementer in information technology (IT) sourcing deal transformation management by Forrester Research in a recent independent report. This report, The Forrester Wave™: IT Sourcing Deal Transformation Management, Q2 2006, reviews leading outsourcing vendors on their ability to implement IT sourcing deal transformation management.

Forrester evaluated EDS' ability to launch sourcing deals and transform the customer's environments against 55 criteria including EDS' implementation capability, its solution development and methodology and process maturity.

Forrester cited that EDS "has a strong overall market presence with a large trained workforce, a broad distribution of deal sizes and durations, and a strong growing global delivery footprint that is remarkably well balanced across all regions." To reaffirm EDS' growing global footprint, Forrester noted "virtually all enterprise firms should consider EDS as a provider in complex sourcing deals based on its implementation and transformation capability."
