CIOs Prepare for Worker Shortage

Filed in archive General by steve on February 10, 2005

As reported by Jim Nash at InformationWeek,

Analyst firm Gartnerlinks recommends that CIOs prepare now for a shortage of workers that the company says will occur by 2012.

I'm generally a proactive person, but it's hard for me to think that far in advance. That might even exceed the tenure of your average CIO by 2x-3x. I had to do a triple take on the year. I will have to ponder the InformationWeek article more.
