A1s Team, Get everybody on board!

Towards the end of the event I decided to attend a presentation on On Demand crm solution of SAP, the one comment that stuck me as odd, went something like this "On Demand is good for the simple stuff and cant be a complete solution, for that you would need to move on premise" (the wording might have been different but this was the message)

Is this the message SAP wants to be sending out with the upcoming launch of A1s.

Infact the contradiction continues within the CRM suite itself, they inform that the architecture and the solution fundamentals are the same for both the on demand and on premise solution, So I don't understand why you cant provide the complete suite of functionality in both the modes of delivery. If the whole idea is to provide customer the choice than why not get them both on the same level and then let the customer choose.

As i had indicated in an earlier post, Its very important for the organization as whole to get on the same page with the ondemand or SaaS.
