Check out the "2005 IT Service Provider Scorecard" by Forrester available here.
Summary of the document:
Every year, Forrester asks clients to describe their satisfaction with IT service providers. We also ask clients who plan to buy services which providers they plan to hire. In our third year, we find that overall, the market has been stable --- clients remain satisfied with their current providers. Among those who plan to hire new providers in 2005, the relative ranking among providers has changed little, with only HP increasing its percentage of planned use.
Some interesting insights from the document:
- Outsourcing clients are slightly more satisfied than consulting clients.
- BearingPoint leads among consultants for client satisfaction.
- Infosys is strong in client satisfaction among outsourcers.
- IBM leads among providers that firms plan to hire in 2005.
- Hewlett-Packard has gained ground. - Particularly in the infrastructure outsourcing category.
Lot of other interesting insights in the document.
